The Hawk Performance HB522G.565 brake pads utilize the DTC-60 compound, a ferro-carbon blend engineered for racing applications. These pads provide exceptional stopping power, rated 5 out of 5, and deliver excellent modulation and release characteristics, allowing drivers to finely control braking force. They are compatible with Iron/Metal rotors but are not compatible with carbon ceramic rotors. The DTC-60 compound is suited for various racing disciplines including NASCAR, ARCA, Super Late models, pavement circle track, Pro 2/Pro 4 Off Road Trucks/Pro Lite, Sports Car/GT/GS, and Open Wheel/Formula series. These brake pads are specifically listed as fitting the front axle of Mazda MX-5 Miata models from 2006-2014.
