DTC-60 Front Brake Pads

The Hawk HB245G.631 brake pads utilize the DTC-60 race compound, engineered for vehicles experiencing extremely high deceleration rates and significant downforce. This compound is recommended when a split friction level between axles is desired, providing excellent modulation and release characteristics. The DTC-60 compound is specifically designed to work with Iron/Metal rotors and is not compatible with carbon ceramic rotors. Its operating temperature range is 400-1600°F, with an optimal range of 600-1200°F. Key characteristics include superior release and torque control, very low pad and rotor wear, high torque output, and stable friction performance. These pads are a popular choice for front axle applications on lightweight vehicles, with or without ABS. These pads are applicable to a wide range of motorsports, including NASCAR, ARCA, Super Late models, pavement circle track, Pro Off Road Trucks, Sports Car, GT, GS, and Open Wheel/Formula racing.
