The Hawk Performance HB248G.650 brake pad utilizes the DTC-60 compound, engineered for superior performance in motorsports applications. This compound is characterized by its excellent torque control, providing first-rate modulation and release. Compared to the DTC-70, the DTC-60 offers less initial bite and torque, but boasts improved pad wear, making it an advantageous choice for lighter weight front axle setups or split friction configurations. Its suitability extends to various racing disciplines, including NASCAR/NASCAR modified, ARCA, Super Late models, pavement circle track, Pro 2/Pro 4 Off Road Trucks/Pro Lite, Sports Car/GT/GS, and Open Wheel/Formula racing. The DTC-60 compound is also noted for very low abrasive rotor wear. The HB248G.650 is classified as a Motorsports Brake Pad and is also suitable for street use.
