DTC-60 Rear Brake Pads

The Hawk Performance HB157G.484 brake pads utilize the DTC-60 compound, engineered for superior performance in motorsports and demanding street applications. This compound offers a balance of torque control, modulation, and release, with less initial bite and torque compared to the DTC-70 compound, contributing to improved pad wear. These rear brake pads are ideal for lighter weight front axle applications or as part of a split friction setup, particularly when paired with DTC-70 pads. They demonstrate excellent torque control, a hallmark of the DTC series, providing drivers with precise feedback for high-deceleration situations, whether or not the vehicle utilizes downforce. The operating temperature range is 400-1600°F, with an optimal range of 700-1100°F, and they feature very low abrasive rotor wear. The DTC-60 compound is applicable to a wide range of motorsports, including NASCAR/NASCAR modified, ARCA, Super Late models, pavement circle track, Pro 2/Pro 4 Off Road Trucks/Pro Lite, Sports Car/GT/GS, and Open Wheel/Formula racing. The product includes electronic wear indicators but does not include shims.
