DTC-60 Rear Brake Pads

The Hawk HB158G.515 is a set of rear brake pads utilizing the DTC-60 compound, designed for high-performance braking applications. It is often selected for lighter weight front axle setups and is known for its excellent modulation and release characteristics, making it a strong choice for vehicles requiring high deceleration rates, whether equipped with downforce or not. The DTC-60 compound is similar to Hawk's DTC-70 but offers less initial bite and torque, alongside improved pad wear. This makes it a versatile option, particularly for split friction setups where it can be paired with the DTC-70 compound. The operating temperature range for these pads is 400-1600°F, with an optimal temperature range of 700-1100°F. These brake pads are intended for motorsports use and are compatible with a wide array of racing disciplines, including NASCAR, ARCA, Super Late models, pavement circle track, Pro 2/Pro 4 Off Road Trucks/Pro Lite, Sports Car/GT/GS, and Open Wheel/Formula racing. It is important to note that all Hawk Performance compounds are designed exclusively for use with Iron/Metal rotors and are not compatible with carbon ceramic rotors.
