The Hawk HB290G.583 brake pads are engineered for high-performance applications, utilizing the DTC-60 motorsport compound. These rear brake pads provide superior release and torque control, making them a popular choice for lightweight front axle applications, whether equipped with ABS or not. The DTC-60 compound is known for its very low abrasive rotor wear, extending the life of your brake rotors. These pads are specifically applicable to a range of motorsports, including NASCAR, ARCA, Super Late models, pavement circle track, Pro 2/Pro 4 Off Road Trucks/Pro Lite, Sports Car/GT/GS, and Open Wheel/Formula racing. They are also suitable for street use. It is important to note that all Hawk Performance compounds are incompatible with carbon ceramic rotors; these pads are designed exclusively for use with Iron/Metal rotors. Installation requires specific bed-in procedures, which are available from the manufacturer.
