DTC-60 Rear Brake Pads

The Hawk HB523G.539 brake pads utilize the DTC-60 compound, engineered for high-performance braking applications. This compound offers a balanced approach, providing less aggressive initial bite and lower torque compared to the DTC-70, while still delivering excellent pad wear. The DTC-60 is particularly well-suited for lighter front axle applications or when a split friction setup is desired, often in conjunction with DTC-70 pads on the other axle. This translates to first-rate modulation capabilities, allowing drivers to finely manage braking force. The DTC-60 compound is an excellent choice for vehicles that require high deceleration rates, performing effectively with or without downforce. The construction features a ferro-carbon friction material and is integrally molded without shims, ensuring durability and consistent performance. Key specifications include a high operating temperature range of 400-1600°F and a ferro-carbon friction material. Electronic wear sensors are not included. The pads are sold as a set of two for the rear axle. Fitment includes various models of the Mazda MX-5 Miata (2006-2025) and Fiat 124 Spider (2017-2019).
