The Hawk Performance HB119U.594 brake pads are engineered with the DTC-70 compound, specifically designed for motorsports and track-only use. This high-performance compound delivers exceptionally high torque with an aggressive yet controllable initial bite, suitable for vehicles with high deceleration rates. These pads are built for superior rotor and pad wear, ensuring longevity even under demanding conditions. They offer excellent modulation and release characteristics, allowing for precise control during braking maneuvers. The DTC-70 compound operates effectively within a temperature range of 400-1600°F. It is crucial to note that all Hawk Performance compounds are not compatible with carbon ceramic rotors; these pads are designed exclusively for use with iron/metal rotors. The HB119U.594 set is intended for front brake applications and is compatible with a range of Chevrolet S10 and GMC Sonoma models from 2001-2003, among others listed in the fitment guide.
