The Hawk HB103U.590 is a set of front brake pads engineered with the DTC-70 compound, specifically designed for high-performance and racing applications. This compound delivers extremely high torque and an aggressive initial bite, crucial for vehicles with high deceleration rates, whether they utilize downforce or not. Its superior release and control characteristics make it a winning race solution, suitable for use alone or in a split-friction setup with DTC-60 pads. The DTC-70 compound operates effectively across a wide temperature range of 400-1600°F, with an optimal performance window between 800-1200°F. These pads offer superior rotor and pad wear, along with excellent modulation and release characteristics. Applicability extends to a broad spectrum of motorsports, including NASCAR and NASCAR-modified vehicles, ARCA, Super Late models, pavement circle track racing, Pro 2/Pro 4 Off Road Trucks/Pro Lite, Sports Car/GT/GS, Open Wheel/Formula, and even Monster Trucks. It is important to note that all Hawk Performance compounds are designed exclusively for use with Iron/Metal rotors and are not compatible with carbon ceramic rotors.
