The Hawk HB518U.642 brake pads utilize the DTC-70 compound, engineered for extremely high torque and an aggressive, controllable initial bite. This makes them ideal for vehicles with high deceleration rates, suitable for both track and street use. This compound offers excellent modulation and release characteristics, contributing to better pedal feel and more reliable braking under demanding conditions. All Hawk Performance brake pads are manufactured in ISO certified facilities and are 100% asbestos, lead, chromium, cadmium, and antimony-free. These brake pads are explicitly compatible with Iron/Metal rotors and are not compatible with carbon ceramic rotors. Their intended applications span a wide range of motorsports, including NASCAR, ARCA, Super Late models, pavement circle track, Pro 2/Pro 4 Off Road Trucks/Pro Lite, Sports Car/GT/GS, Open Wheel/Formula, and Monster Trucks.
