DTC60 MOTORSPORTS BRAKE PADS

Hawk Performance DTC-60 race compound brake pads are designed for extremely high deceleration rates and increased downforce. They are recommended for use with DTC-70 when split friction between axles is desired, offering excellent modulation and release characteristics. The DTC-60 has the same temperature range as the DTC-70 but produces less brake torque. It is often used in lighter, smaller cars like the Miata and S2000 (front axle with DTC-30 rear) or on the rear axle of larger, heavier cars like Corvettes, Mustangs, Porsches, and BMWs (with DTC-70 front). This is not an entry-level race compound and should not be driven on the street. It is intended for serious racers with track experience who have encountered issues with less aggressive compounds overheating or not providing enough bite. Features include superior release and torque control, very low pad and rotor wear, high torque, excellent modulation and release characteristics, stable friction output, and optimal temperature ranges of 600-1200 Deg F (operating temperature range of 400-1600 Deg F).
