The RW Carbon DTM Carbon Fiber Trunk Spoiler offers a more aggressive aesthetic compared to the standard AMG style for your Mercedes W212 sedan. Constructed from genuine 2x2 carbon fiber, it features a high-gloss, UV-resistant clearcoat for durability and a lasting finish that complements other RW Carbon parts. The DTM spoiler is designed to be one of the larger options available for the W212, providing a significant visual upgrade. Installation is straightforward and can typically be completed in under 30 minutes without special tools. The spoiler attaches to the trunk lid using 3M double-sided tape, which can be purchased separately at checkout. While professional installation is recommended, it can also be performed by enthusiasts. It's important to note that if your vehicle's trunk has a ceramic coating in the mounting area, it must be buffed or polished off before applying the 3M tape, as the tape and promoter will not adhere correctly to a ceramic-coated surface. This trunk spoiler is specifically designed for the 2010-2016 Mercedes W212 E Class and E63 Sedan models. Fitment includes various submodels and engines within this year range, such as the E550, E63 AMG, E350, and E400, across different engine sizes and configurations (e.g., 4-Matic).
