Overview

The HPA Motorsports DTM Full Throttle EFR 7670 VR6 turbo kit is an entry-level system designed to significantly increase power. This kit delivers 360+ ft-lbs of torque and 350+ hp while operating under 7 pounds of boost. It includes a Borg Warner EFR 7670 turbocharger and HPA's proprietary cast exhaust manifold with external O2 sensor bungs.

The kit also features a stainless steel downpipe with a flex joint, custom-wrapped silicone boost plumbing, and stainless steel oil and water lines. To facilitate the power increase, it includes 500mL fuel injectors, a 3.0 Bar fuel pressure regulator, and a 4mm compression reduction kit for a 7.5:1 compression ratio.

The HPA Motorsports DTM Full Throttle EFR 7670 VR6 turbo kit is engineered to provide a substantial power upgrade for VR6 engines. This entry-level "Direct To Manifold" (DTM) kit is designed to produce over 360 ft-lbs of torque and 350 horsepower with just 7 pounds of boost, serving as an excellent introduction to forced induction. Key components of this kit include a Borg Warner EFR 7670 single scroll turbocharger and an HPA proprietary cast exhaust manifold equipped with external O2 sensor bungs. The package also includes a stainless steel downpipe featuring an interlock flex joint, a stainless steel manifold heat shield, and custom-wrapped silicone boost plumbing. For fuel system support, the kit provides 500mL fuel injectors and a 3.0 Bar fuel pressure regulator, along with a 4mm compression reduction kit to lower the compression ratio to 7.5:1. Additional components for a complete installation are also supplied, such as stainless steel oil and water lines, vacuum lines, emission control integration provisions, ECU software, and a manual boost controller. Specific to DTM kits, the 3.0 Bar Fuel Pressure Regulator and Manual Boost Controller are included. Note that UK Mk4 R32 models require the MAF sensor from an Audi TT DSG for compatibility with DTM and FT410 kits. Additionally, Mk5 R32 and Mk1 TT models will experience limited horsepower gains (around 340HP) with the DTM kit due to stock fueling restrictions.
