Dual 12-Inch Spal Fan Kit

The PCM of NC dual fan kit serves as a direct-fit replacement for the power-robbing stock electro-viscous fan found on 5.3L and 6.0L Trailblazer, Envoy, and GMT360 vehicles. By utilizing two high-flow 12-inch Spal fans paired with a custom, black powder-coated shroud, this kit installs directly onto factory mounting points without the need for drilling or cutting. Users can opt for standard 12-inch Spal fans or a heavy-duty version designed for highly modified applications, including forced induction, stroker engines, or hot climates. Each kit includes a voucher for a required software fan patch to enable PCM-based control. For wiring, the three-relay Spal harness provides independent fan control, operating both fans at half-speed for low-coolant requirements and full power for high-demand scenarios. Given the increased electrical load, the manufacturer strongly recommends installing the three-wire battery cable upgrade kit (P-070009 & P-070010) to support proper system operation. Installation notes include the mandatory disabling of P0480, P0481, and P0483 codes in the vehicle's engine control module (ECM) to ensure compatibility if using a manual fan switch. PCM of NC also offers an optional fan clutch wrench available for rental or purchase to assist with the removal of the stock fan assembly.
