The PowerBass PBM-PP212 Dual 12" Subwoofer System is engineered as a comprehensive solution for adding powerful low-end to your vehicle's audio setup. This system includes everything needed for a complete subwoofer installation, featuring PowerBass's new PBM Series Amplifiers with remote gain control, an 8AWG wiring kit, and protective mesh grills, all combined in a PBM Series Combo Kit. The enclosure itself is a heavy-duty design with a computer-optimized acoustic chamber and a bass reflex system utilizing slotted ports. This design approach allows the woofers to be engineered specifically to fit the enclosure, resulting in deeper, tighter bass that can handle more power compared to conventional designs. The system boasts a frequency response from 30 Hz to 120 Hz and can handle 550 watts RMS or 1100 watts peak power. Key components include a 2-layer DDC coated black ribbed paper cone, a 2-inch BASV high-temperature voice coil, and a double-pressed treated foam surround, all housed within a black aircraft-grade vinyl finish. The nominal impedance is a single 4-ohm input.
