The Stinger TXJTD8 is a custom-loaded subwoofer enclosure engineered for the Jeep Gladiator JT models from 2020 to 2024. It houses two 8-inch AudioControl Spike Series subwoofers, wired together to present a 2-ohm load to your amplifier. Constructed from durable fiberglass with internal bracing and a protective Armor Coat finish, this enclosure is built to withstand the rigors of daily use and outdoor conditions. The subwoofers themselves feature fiber matrix paper cones with mica coating for optimal sound reproduction and a high excursion design for deep, resonant bass. The enclosure's internal tuning is set at 39 Hz, with a subsonic filter at 31 Hz, further enhancing low-frequency response and protecting the subwoofer from damaging frequencies. The enclosure boasts a robust feature set including a weather-resistant design, sound dampening properties to reduce resonance, and resistance to scratches, cracks, peels, chemicals, and stains. It also includes durable steel subwoofer grilles for added protection and an optional XT-90 connector for quick disconnect.
