The HKS Hi-Power SPEC-L II is a high-performance cat-back exhaust system engineered to optimize flow and weight for the Subaru BRZ, Scion FR-S, and Toyota 86. By utilizing a straight-through internal design, this system reduces exhaust pressure and provides a more aggressive engine note while being 44% lighter than the factory-equipped unit. Constructed from durable SUS304 and SUH409 stainless steel, the kit includes the center pipe and the main muffler assembly. It features dual 94mm diameter tips with a signature burned blue finish. The system provides a maximum center pipe diameter of 60mm to 50mm, balanced for performance-oriented street use. Installation includes all necessary hardware and gaskets. Data regarding road clearance is based on vehicles equipped with stock suspension, though the design is intended to remain functional with various ride-height adjustable kits. This exhaust is engineered specifically for the FA20 engine platform to ensure precise fitment and consistent performance outcomes.
