The Garrett GT3071R-Z31 is a dual ball bearing turbocharger designed for performance applications. It features genuine Garrett GT Aero compressor and Inconel turbine wheels. This turbocharger has a 480+ HP potential flow and is suitable for 2.5L - 3.5L displacement engines.

The Garrett GT3071R-Z31 turbocharger offers a significant upgrade for performance Z31 vehicles, providing a 90% bolt-on experience while fitting in the factory location. This unit incorporates modern turbocharger technology for an accompanying power boost in a lightweight, compact package. It utilizes a dual ball bearing CHRA rotating assembly for improved durability and responsiveness, featuring a genuine Garrett GT Aero compressor wheel and a genuine Garrett GT Inconel turbine wheel. This turbocharger is derived from the RB25DET platform and can be adapted to work with the L28ET manifold. It comes complete with a 1 bar internal wastegate actuator. The specifications include a 53mm compressor wheel inducer diameter, 71mm exducer, and 56 trim, with a 0.50 A/R compressor housing. The turbine side features a 60mm inducer diameter, 55mm exducer, and 84 trim. Optional oil supply, return, and coolant fittings, as well as a downpipe to V-band adapter, are available. Fitment notes indicate that this turbocharger has not been tested with A/C equipped vehicles. Fabricating a 2.5” downpipe is required, as a 3” diameter is too large to fit around the steering shaft. For intake piping and filter clearance around the engine mount bracket, RevShift engine mounts or a Turbo-Guard may be necessary.
