The Meziere electric water pump provides a 55 GPM free flow rating, specifically engineered to support the cooling demands of supercharged Ford Modular engines. Constructed from aluminum with a stainless steel large-diameter main shaft and a high-performance ceramic seal, this pump is designed for both street and drag strip use with a 3,000-hour life expectancy. The included dual-bearing HD idler allows users to maintain factory belt-driven accessories while managing the higher belt loads typical of aftermarket blower setups. Installation utilizes factory hardware, and each unit is supplied with an O-ring seal for a direct fit. The pump draws 11-12 amps during normal operation. Note that while this unit is compatible with 12-volt systems, it should not be powered while charging a 16-volt system. Compatibility note: This pump does NOT fit the 2003-2004 Cobra engine, and it is not compatible with supercharged GT500 Mustangs.
