The calipers themselves are forged and monoblock aluminum, ensuring durability and optimal heat dissipation. Ksport includes CNC-machined carbon steel caliper brackets to ensure a direct bolt-on fit to the OEM caliper bracket locations. The kit comes standard with SC5 Street Pads, designed for optimal street and occasional track use, offering reduced dust and noise while maintaining effective temperature ranges between 194°F and 1022°F. Included in the comprehensive kit are two forged, monoblock aluminum calipers, two lightweight two-piece slotted rotors, a set of SC5 Street Brake Pads, two DOT-compliant stainless steel braided brake lines, and all necessary mounting components and hardware. The stainless steel brake lines are crucial for preventing expansion under pressure, leading to a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel compared to standard rubber lines.
