Dual Caliper Rear Brake Kit

This system uniquely employs a single 4-piston caliper, with two pistons dedicated to the foot brake and the other two independently managing the handbrake. Constructed with a lightweight forged one-piece caliper body made from aerospace-quality aluminum, this kit offers exceptional strength and even thickness distribution to prevent fracturing and warpage. The caliper pistons are aluminum, protected by heavy-duty seals capable of withstanding high temperatures, ensuring smooth operation without drag and resisting corrosion. An opposed-piston design guarantees consistent brake pad grip and wear. Standard features include high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel wear plates. The 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum center sections reduce rotational mass for quicker stopping response and act as heat sinks, dissipating heat effectively. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily driven vehicles due to cooler operation, while slotted rotors are advised for more track-focused use. This kit includes SC5 Street Pads, offering optimal performance for street and occasional track conditions with reduced dust and noise. An upgrade to RCI Race Pads is available for extreme track conditions. The Dualcomp system also features a polished titanium handbrake cylinder and lever, CNC-machined carbon steel caliper brackets for direct bolt-on installation, and D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines for improved pedal response and feel.
