This advanced system utilizes a unique Dual Caliper setup, featuring a single 4-pot caliper. Within this caliper, two pistons are dedicated to the foot brake system, while another two independently manage the handbrake, offering distinct control for each function. The kit incorporates lightweight, two-piece rotors, which can be specified as either cross-drilled or slotted. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily driven vehicles due to their superior cooling properties, whereas slotted rotors are better suited for track applications where heat dissipation is critical. Included with the kit are Ksport's SC5 Street Pads, engineered to deliver optimal braking performance for both street driving and occasional track use. These pads are designed to reduce brake dust by at least 50% compared to race pads and minimize noise and rotor wear, operating effectively between 194°F - 1022°F. Enhancing the braking system further are D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which minimize line expansion under pressure for a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel compared to stock rubber lines. The handbrake system features a polished titanium cylinder and lever, adding both aesthetic appeal and improved control. The kit is built to order, with an estimated production and delivery time of 4-6 weeks. Ksport Big Brake kits are Formula Drift legal.
