The Marlin Crawler MC07 is a 4th-generation dual case adapter designed for enhanced reliability and performance in Toyota transfer cases. It features a 1-3/16" wide Double-Row Maximum Capacity Type 32-Ball Bearing, a significant upgrade from the previous MC05's single-row bearing.

This adapter also incorporates a redesigned coupler with a new thrust washer detent ball, increased oiling capacity, and an improved bearing retention system. These enhancements collectively address the reliability concerns that plagued earlier models, ensuring significantly fewer coupler failures.

The Marlin Crawler MC07 represents a significant advancement in dual transfer case adapters, specifically engineered to overcome the reliability issues of its predecessor, the MC05. This 4th-generation adapter was developed to provide a robust and dependable solution for off-road enthusiasts seeking maximum low-range gearing. At the core of the MC07's enhanced durability is its upgraded bearing system. It utilizes a 1-3/16" wide Double-Row Maximum Capacity Type 32-Ball Bearing, a stark contrast to the narrower Single-Row Conrad 9-Ball Bearing found in the MC05. This heavy-duty bearing is designed to handle significantly greater radial and axial loads, contributing to the MC07's proven reliability and low failure rate. Beyond the primary bearing, the MC07 features several other key improvements. A redesigned coupler incorporates a new thrust washer detent ball, crucial for preventing coupler stripping. Furthermore, increased oiling capacity and an improved bearing retention system are integrated to ensure longevity and consistent performance under demanding off-road conditions. The MC07 has demonstrated exceptional reliability, with a failure rate of only 1 coupler stripped out for every 1,070 units sold, compared to the MC05's rate of approximately 1 failed coupler for every 8 units sold.
