This enhanced offering improves upon previous designs by routing crankcase gases through two separate, baffled catch cans, effectively removing excess oil and moisture from the system. This process is crucial for maintaining the reliability and performance of direct-injected LTG engines. By preventing the ingestion of oil into the intake system, it combats valve coking, which can lead to decreased performance and fuel economy. Additionally, it helps mitigate oil-related pre-ignition events and can prevent oil dilution, particularly in E85 applications, by removing excess moisture from the crankcase. The kit includes two baffled ZZP catch cans, a powder-coated aluminum mounting bracket, oil-resistant silicone hoses, a ZZP PCV fitting, and all necessary clamps, hardware, and fittings for installation. A ZZP throttle body spacer is included in the 'Full Kit' option and is necessary for installation; an alternative option is available for those who already possess the spacer. Installation is straightforward, with a recommended torque spec of 100 in-lbs for the fitting into the valve cover. ZZPerformance advises checking the catch cans weekly initially to gauge their fill rate, noting that cars running ethanol-based fuels (E85), especially in colder months or during short trips, may see faster fill times. If the cans are not filling as expected, it may indicate a healthy engine. This kit is compatible with the 2013-2019 Cadillac ATS 2.0L, 2016-2024 Chevrolet Camaro 2.0L, and 2014-2019 Cadillac CTS 2.0L. It is important to note that this kit **does not fit FWD transverse LTG engine vehicles**.
