The CSF #8183 is a transmission cooler designed for the A90/A91 Supra and BMW G-Series vehicles. It features an innovative dual-core design that increases core volume by 240% and fluid capacity by 130% compared to the OEM unit. This allows for maximum performance and optimal shifting during extreme racing conditions, preventing transmission temperature overheating and sluggish shifting.

The cooler is constructed from aluminum with a black powder coat finish and utilizes Plate and Fin core technology. It is designed as a direct, drop-in fit and uses OEM style "Quick Connect" inlet/outlet connections, requiring no modifications for installation. It can be installed with either the OEM front mount heat exchanger or CSF's high-performance version.

The CSF #8183 transmission cooler is engineered to combat gearbox fatigue and sluggish shifting in high-performance A90/A91 Supra and BMW G-Series vehicles. Developed with input from leading time attack teams and tuners, this cooler addresses the limitations of stock transmission coolers under heavy track or competition use. The dual-core design, exclusive to CSF, significantly increases heat dissipation and fluid capacity, ensuring optimal transmission performance even under extreme conditions. Constructed from durable aluminum with a black powder coat finish, the CSF #8183 features a Plate and Fin core. Its innovative design provides a 240% increase in core volume and a 130% increase in fluid capacity over the OEM cooler, holding 550ml compared to the OEM's 240ml. Utilizing CSF's AC Condenser Technology, a 1-Row Super-High Pressure 16mm 9-Channel Microtube optimizes oil flow and maximizes surface area contact for superior heat transfer. The cooler uses OEM-style "Quick Connect" inlet and outlet connections and is compatible with both the OEM front mount heat exchanger and CSF's own high-performance version (CSF #8154), including an integrated rock guard. It also utilizes the OEM top and bottom rubber seals for optimal airflow into the cooling system. Fitment Notes: The CSF #8183 will NOT fit late production 2024 or 2025+ BMW G2X M340i or M440i models equipped with the B58N engine. Production of the B58D engine ended in July 2024 for the M340i and March 2024 for the M440i. It is recommended to verify your OE Transmission Oil Cooler Part Number or contact a BMW dealership with your VIN for compatibility confirmation, as BMW updated the part number for the 2025 model transmission oil cooler (2025+ models use OE 17218852263, while 2020-2024 models use OE 17219494828). The cooler comes with a 2-Year Limited Warranty.
