Overview

The GForce RCS-10B-700 is a stock replacement crossmember designed for 1982-2005 2WD S10 Blazers and S15 Jimmys.

It allows a dual exhaust system to be routed under the crossmember, facilitating easier header connection while keeping the exhaust above the frame rails. The crossmember features exhaust clearance humps that are installed closed on top and open on the bottom. It has a black powder-coated finish and includes mounting hardware.

The GForce RCS-10B-700 crossmember is a direct replacement designed to fit 1982-2005 2WD S10 Blazers and S15 Jimmys equipped with 700R4, 4L60, 4L60E, 4L65E, T5, TKO, TKX, or 2WD-AR5 transmissions. This crossmember facilitates the routing of a dual exhaust system beneath it, simplifying header connections and maintaining exhaust clearance above the frame rails. It features specific exhaust clearance humps, intended to be installed with the closed side facing upwards and the open side downwards. The black powder-coated finish provides durability and corrosion resistance, and all necessary mounting hardware is included. Installation notes: For TKO or TKX transmissions, slight floor pan modifications may be required, and a GMTM-S short transmission mount is recommended. If your vehicle has a crossmember mounting pattern through the side of the frame rail, this crossmember will not work; the RCS10 is the alternative. For T5 transmissions, a custom transmission mount may be needed to ensure proper driveline angle. A polyurethane transmission mount, such as the GMTM, is recommended and sold separately. To use the provided 7/16″ hardware, frame rail holes will need to be enlarged to 1/2″; alternatively, using stock 3/8″ hardware requires Grade #8 fasteners for adequate strength.
