The Perrin Dual Exit Catback is a precision-engineered exhaust system tailored for the 2022-2025 Subaru WRX. By utilizing mandrel-bent 3-inch piping and a 2.5-inch Y-section, the system optimizes exhaust flow to improve throttle response and horsepower potential. The construction employs high-grade 304 stainless steel with a brushed finish, ensuring durability and corrosion resistance for both street and track environments. While professional installation is recommended to ensure optimal fitment and torque specs, the system is compatible with DIY setups. Enthusiasts should note that only OEM Subaru gaskets are to be used, as aftermarket gaskets with thick crush rings may cause flange warping and permanent exhaust leaks. Note that this performance component is intended for off-road applications only and may not be permitted on public highways in certain jurisdictions. Use of header wrap is strictly prohibited, as it increases corrosion and reduces the lifespan of the stainless steel. The system should not be installed on vehicles lacking a splash guard, as doing so voids the warranty. Owners should verify local emission laws prior to purchase and installation.
