Overview

The Katech KAT-A7838 is a dual fuel pump module kit designed for the Gen 6 Camaro and CTS-V3 platforms.

It features a venturi system to ensure continuous fuel flow in all conditions, even under high lateral G-forces. The primary fuel pump is controlled by the factory FPCM, while the secondary pump can be managed by an external controller or trigger system. This kit is E85 rated and tested to support up to 1000 RWHP on E85.

This sealed, drop-in fuel pump module retains all factory functionality, including the returnless fuel system, fuel level sender, EVAP functionality, and crucial low-level fueling performance, which distinguishes it from other aftermarket solutions. Its integrated venturi system ensures uncompromised fuel flow in all conditions, including high lateral G-forces, by maintaining consistent fuel delivery at all fuel levels. This design not only supports demanding driving scenarios like road course use but also preserves the OEM system's integrity and drivability. The primary fuel pump operates via the factory Fuel Pump Control Module (FPCM), while the secondary pump offers flexible control through an external controller or trigger system. With this configuration, the KAT-A7838 is real-world tested to support up to 1000 RWHP on E85 in a factory returnless setup. For installation, a post-pump fuel filter (5-10µm, stainless or micro fiberglass, E85 rated) is required. The optional KAT-A7815 Plug & Play Controller/Harness facilitates a seamless, no-cutting integration. The kit includes the KAT-A7763 module and the KAT-A7815 harness/controller.
