Overview

It features dual Hall Effect sensors for crankshaft and camshaft signals, enabling sequential EFI operation. This distributor also functions as a crank trigger for TBI systems and includes an improved shutter wheel for accurate timing at high engine speeds. It comes with an MSD cap and rotor.

The Holley EFI Dual Sync Distributor (HLY-565-200BK) is a next-generation upgrade for Small Block and Big Block Chevrolet engines. Its black anodized, CNC-machined billet aluminum housing offers superior strength and aesthetics. It can also serve as a crank trigger for TBI systems. Key enhancements include an improved shutter wheel design, precision machined for accurate timing even at very high RPMs. This shutter wheel is pinned and welded to the distributor shaft for enhanced reliability and features a QPQ coating for superior corrosion resistance. The package includes an MSD cap and rotor, and the distributor maintains MSD shaft diameters, facilitating the use of aftermarket bronze gears for billet cams. This dual sync distributor is designed for plug-and-play compatibility with Holley EFI and Sniper EFI systems when using adapter harness part number 558-493. It is also compatible with other EFI systems that support Hall Effect crank and cam sensor inputs. The housing features integrated LEDs for simplified setup. Note that an ignition box is required for operation and is not included. The distributor comes with an iron distributor gear.
