The AIRTEC Motorsport DCT Transmission Cooler is engineered to address the excessive heat generated by dual-clutch transmissions in high-performance BMW F-platform vehicles, specifically the M2 Comp, M3, and M4. During demanding track sessions or spirited road driving, especially with increased engine power, the DCT's oil temperature can exceed optimal levels, compromising cooling properties and risking transmission damage. Prolonged overheating can lead to the car's ECU automatically reducing engine torque output and engaging a limp mode, or even causing permanent damage. Installation is straightforward, as it is a direct replacement for the original cooler, requiring no modifications to the vehicle. Key features include improved cooling efficiency with 25-35% more effectiveness than the stock unit, a dual pass high-performance core, and a direct-fit design for easy installation. The cooler is supplied exclusively in a Pro-Series Black finish and is compatible with F-series M2 Comp, M3, and M4 models.
