Dual Polished Spring Kit

The Brian Tooley Racing Platinum LS Dual Spring Kit (SK001) is engineered to provide exceptional valve control and durability for a wide range of LS engine builds. This kit is ideal for daily drivers with mild camshafts, 600 hp naturally aspirated strokers, or even turbocharged engines capable of 1000 hp, ensuring your valves remain precisely positioned with your camshaft. This kit is designed as a drop-in component for 15° LS heads and is compatible with stock rocker arms. For LS7 heads, a .030” or .045” shim (Part numbers SS030 and SS015+SS030 respectively) may be required. It is important to note that this kit will not fit LS9 engines; use part # SK006 for LS9 heads. If you are using roller rocker arms, part # SK002 is recommended instead. Included in the kit are 16 SP001-1 dual polished springs, 32 VL7°8MM-1 locks, 16 retainers (available in Titanium SR001-1 or chromoly steel SR001S-1), 16 locators for stock or bronze guides, and 16 VS LS valve seals. The spring specifications include 155 lbs of pressure at 1.780" installed height, 380 lbs at 1.180", and 400 lbs at 1.130", with coil bind occurring at 1.070".
