Dual-Port Intake Manifold for Ford 2.6L/2.8L V6 Cologne

The Offenhauser 6097DP is a dual-port intake manifold engineered to improve engine performance and throttle response in Ford 2.6L and 2.8L V6 Cologne engines. By utilizing separate runner systems for the primary and secondary circuits, this manifold increases velocity for better balance throughout the entire RPM band. The competition-style design is intended for use with a 4-barrel carburetor. This manifold is compatible with a wide range of Ford vehicles, including the Mustang II, Capri, Pinto, Bronco II, and Ranger. Note that for later models like the Bronco II and Ranger, the engine must be equipped with a 1983 or earlier stock distributor with vacuum advance, or an aftermarket equivalent. Additionally, this manifold requires a 3-bolt water neck (Ford part # D2RY8592A). Compatibility is specific to US-spec engine configurations. Because non-US 2.8L engines may use 2.6L style cylinder heads with different port configurations, this manifold does not fit those engines unless they have been converted to US 2.8L heads, camshaft, and exhaust manifolds. The kit includes the middle gasket, bolts for connecting the upper and lower halves, and bolts to mount the manifold to the block.
