The Vogtland sport lowering spring kit provides a performance-oriented upgrade for 1993-2002 Chevrolet Camaro V8 and Pontiac Firebird V8 models. These springs are engineered from high-tensile chrome silicon alloy to reduce unsprung weight while enhancing the vehicle's handling characteristics by lowering the center of gravity and minimizing wheel gap. Each spring utilizes a specialized compound design featuring two distinct spring rates. The initial rate is calibrated to maintain proper preload for consistent suspension performance, while the final rate is tuned to achieve a neutral steering balance. This dual-rate setup ensures the vehicle remains composed across various road conditions while providing a firmer, more responsive feel. Note that for vehicles originally equipped with a sport suspension, the final lowering amount will be reduced by the factory suspension's existing drop. Additionally, while these springs are compatible with various wheel and tire combinations, users must adhere to the conditions set by local wheel type testing institutions or original manufacturer approvals where required. This kit is specifically designed for 1993-2002 V8 models and is not compatible with other engine configurations or body styles not listed in the fitment guide.
