The Morimoto HD Relay wiring harness is an essential component for any HID lighting upgrade, ensuring stable voltage delivery directly from the vehicle's battery to HID ballasts. This bypasses the factory headlight outputs, which are typically insufficient for HID systems, thus preventing common issues like flickering headlights and ensuring optimal performance. Constructed for durability and reliability, this harness features two independent, sealed 40A relays, one for each headlight. This fail-safe design means that if one relay fails, you won't be left completely in the dark. The relays are protected against the elements with ribbed silicone seals, and the wiring is safeguarded by abrasion-resistant Techflex mesh sleeving. Connections are secured with proper silicone grommets, and the unit includes a polished stainless steel mounting bracket for a factory-fresh look. Its wire lengths are sufficient for various vehicle sizes, from compact cars to SUVs. The input trigger is an H11 male connector, with two 9006 female ballast outputs. It also includes nickel-plated ring-type terminals for ground and 12V power connections, and an inline 25A fuse for protection. This HD Relay is compatible with H11, H9, H8, or 880 bulbs and can be used for low beams, high beams, or fog lights. However, for vehicles equipped with CANBUS systems or finicky pulsed headlight circuits, additional components such as standalone CANBUS harnesses or Mopar Spec harnesses are required (not included). Similarly, Bi-Xenon projectors will require separate High Beam Splitters, and PWM pulsing signals will need a Capacitor Link, both of which are not included with this harness.
