The BDS Suspension BDS2014DH is a dual steering stabilizer mounting kit engineered to significantly improve the handling characteristics of 2009-2013 Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 4WD models. This kit addresses the challenges posed by larger tire installations, which can exert increased stress on a truck's suspension. The primary function of the steering stabilizer shocks is to mitigate bump steer and reduce undesirable feedback transmitted to the steering wheel, leading to a more controlled driving experience both on and off-road. BDS constructs the mounting brackets from high-strength steel, ensuring durability and ease of installation with a direct bolt-on design. Integrating this steering stabilizer kit with an existing BDS lift kit can also contribute to extending the lifespan of the vehicle's factory steering components. The BDS NX2 Stabilizer shocks utilize a pressurized nitrogen-charged twin-tube construction, complemented by 10-stage velocity-sensitive valving. This advanced valving system allows for rapid dampening adjustments, adapting effectively to various terrains and driving conditions. The shocks feature a robust 2-inch body, a substantial 1-3/8-inch fluon-banded piston, self-lubricating seals, and a 14mm hardened chrome shaft, all designed to provide resilience against rock chips and corrosion.
