The Bosch Europa Silver 140mm Horn Set is a premium dual-tone electromechanical horn engineered for high-performance acoustic output, suitable for all vehicle classes including cars, SUVs, and trucks. Operating at 12V with a current draw of 4.5A per horn, it produces distinct dual frequencies (300/375 Hz) to create a rich high-low tone combination, ensuring superior road presence and audibility. With a sound pressure level of 112 dB at 1 meter (and 106 dB at 2 meters), this horn guarantees clear signaling in dense traffic and on highways. Constructed with a durable, powder-coated steel housing and a brass & steel composite material composition, the Europa Silver horn set is built for longevity. It features an optimized diaphragm material for consistent tone quality and Class A premium corrosion protection. The horn is also IP65 rated for water and dust resistance, with a sealed rubber boot design and excellent UV stabilization, making it suitable for all driving conditions. Bosch's premium engineering ensures precise acoustic tuning and a reliable, long service life of up to 2050 hours (410,000 on/off cycles). It requires a 12V horn relay and a standard wrench/socket set (8-13mm) for installation. The horn is ECE R28 and SAE J377 compliant, making it road legal in many regions.
