The Supertech Single Valve Spring Kit, part number SPRK-A2416-5, provides a comprehensive solution for a high-performance valvetrain overhaul. Constructed with durability in mind, the springs have been treated with a gas nitriding process followed by shot peening, significantly improving their fatigue life. Key specifications include a seat pressure of 73 lbs @ 37.40mm for intake and 85 lbs @ 36mm for exhaust, with open pressures of 178 lbs @ 10mm (intake) and 190 lbs @ 10mm (exhaust). The maximum lift is 12.50mm, with a coil bind at 24.90mm and a rate of 10.5. The outer spring diameter is 24.00mm and the inner diameter is 16.50mm. This kit is engineered for specific Volkswagen models, including the 2012-2014 Beetle, 2010-2014 Golf R, 2005-2014 Jetta, 2012-2014 Passat, and the 2006-2009 Rabbit, all equipped with the 2.5L 5-cylinder 20V engine.
