The K9 AU-84TM is a miniature dual-zone impact sensor module, designed as an accessory for K9 and other Omega Research car alarm systems. This device employs two independent piezo crystal elements to detect both impacts to the vehicle's exterior and the distinct shock of breaking glass. Each zone of the AU-84TM is independently adjustable, allowing for tailored sensitivity. It also includes a dual LED sensitivity test light for easy setup and verification of proper function. The sensor provides a pre-warn output to chirp the alarm siren and deter potential thieves before a full breach occurs, adding an extra layer of security. Its dual-stage output capability means it can differentiate between minor and major impacts.
