The KSport DualComp Big Brake Kit provides a significant upgrade for the braking system of your 2015-2018 Ford Mustang EcoBoost. This advanced system is engineered with Drifting and Rally Racing in mind, featuring a unique DualComp setup with a single 4-pot caliper. This design cleverly utilizes two pots for the primary foot brake and two separate pots for the handbrake, each operating on its own independent hydraulic system for enhanced control and performance. The kit includes a substantial 356mm (14-inch) diameter, 2-piece vented rotor with a drilled surface for superior heat dissipation and stopping power. The rotor features a 2-piece design with an aluminum center to reduce rotational mass, leading to quicker response and shorter stopping distances. The fixed hat construction ensures a secure fit, while the drilled design helps prevent pad glazing and improves cooling. The orange-anodized aluminum calipers house heavy-duty seals for sustained high-temperature use and are mounted via reinforced carbon steel caliper brackets, allowing for direct bolt-on installation without modifications to existing mounting points. The opposed-piston caliper design is key to improving pad grip and minimizing uneven wear. The kit includes everything necessary for a straightforward setup, including the calipers, floating brake discs, street-oriented brake pads, handbrake components, and all required hardware. The included stainless steel brake lines are crucial for maintaining consistent pedal feel under high temperatures and pressures by preventing line expansion.
