The Ksport Dualcomp Rear Big Brake Kit is a specialized braking system engineered for the Mercedes Benz W204 C63 AMG. This kit is designed with a focus on drifting and rally racing, utilizing a unique dual-caliper system where one set of pistons handles the primary braking and another set is dedicated to the handbrake, operating independently. The kit includes calipers, floating brake discs (356mm x 32mm), brake pads, a handbrake, and all necessary hardware for installation, making it a comprehensive solution. The calipers are constructed from a lightweight, forged one-piece aerospace-grade aluminum billet, ensuring strength and even thickness to prevent fracturing and warpage. They feature aluminum pistons with high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless steel wear plates for durability and consistent performance. The opposed-piston design promotes even brake pad wear. The two-piece rotors are designed for lightweight, fade-free performance, with a two-piece construction that includes lightweight 6061-T6 aluminum center sections to reduce rotational mass and improve brake response. The drilled rotor style is recommended for daily driven vehicles as it helps dissipate heat effectively. This kit comes standard with SC5 Street Pads, which offer optimal braking performance for street and occasional track use, reducing dust and noise. An upgrade to RCI Race Pads is available for extreme track conditions. The kit also features D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which prevent expansion under pressure for quicker pedal response and a firmer feel compared to stock rubber lines. The Dualcomp system includes a polished titanium handbrake cylinder and lever, and CNC machined carbon steel caliper brackets for proper fitment.
