DualComp 4-Piston Big Brake Kit

The Ksport DualComp Big Brake Kit is engineered for the 2008-2014 Subaru Impreza WRX, specifically targeting drifting and rally racing applications. Its innovative DualComp system utilizes a single 4-piston caliper, with two pistons dedicated to the primary foot brake and two operating independently for the handbrake, creating distinct braking circuits. This kit boasts a 4-piston caliper type with a 356mm (14-inch) outside diameter rotor that is vented and slotted for optimal performance. The 2-piece rotor construction features an aluminum center to reduce rotational mass, enhance braking response, and shorten stopping distances, while also minimizing the chance of warpage. The opposed-piston caliper design improves pad grip and reduces uneven wear. Aluminum caliper pistons offer corrosion resistance and lighter weight, complemented by reinforced carbon steel caliper brackets that allow for direct bolt-on installation onto existing OEM mounting points. Designed as a complete bolt-on system, it requires no modifications for installation. The kit includes calipers, floating brake discs, street-use brake pads, handbrake components, and all necessary hardware. All caliper seals are heavy-duty for sustained high-temperature use, and stainless steel brake lines are included to prevent expansion under high temperatures and pressures, ensuring faster pedal response. Key specifications include a minimum wheel diameter requirement of 457mm (18 inches), street-oriented pad type, and an orange caliper color.
