This kit features a distinctive DualComp caliper design, a single 4-piston unit that effectively splits its function: two pistons engage for the primary foot brake, while the other two are independently operated for the handbrake. This innovative approach ensures robust performance for both primary braking and emergency/parking situations. Constructed for a seamless integration, the DualComp kit is a complete bolt-on solution, requiring no modifications to the vehicle. It includes all essential components for installation, such as the calipers, floating brake discs, street-performance brake pads, and all necessary hardware. The opposed-piston caliper design enhances pad grip and promotes more even wear, while aluminum caliper pistons offer superior heat resistance and corrosion protection. This big brake kit utilizes 330mm (13") 2-piece vented and slotted rotors, featuring a fixed hat construction. The 2-piece rotor design, combined with an aluminum center, reduces rotational mass, leading to quicker braking response and shorter stopping distances. This design also minimizes the risk of rotor warpage by allowing for less restricted expansion and contraction. All caliper seals are heavy-duty for sustained high-temperature use, and the included stainless steel brake lines resist expansion under pressure, ensuring a firmer pedal feel. The system requires a minimum wheel diameter of 17 inches (432mm).
