DualComp 4-Piston Rear Big Brake Kit

The Ksport DualComp Big Brake Kit is engineered as a rear brake upgrade specifically for drifting and rally racing applications. This advanced system features a unique DualComp caliper design with four pistons. Two of these pistons are dedicated to the foot brake, while the other two are independently controlled by their own system for the handbrake, offering enhanced control and performance. This kit is a comprehensive, bolt-on solution that requires no modifications to your vehicle. It includes everything needed for installation: Ksport calipers, floating brake discs, performance street brake pads, a handbrake system, and all necessary mounting hardware and brackets. The calipers are finished in a striking orange color. The opposed-piston caliper design enhances pad grip and minimizes uneven wear. Aluminum caliper pistons prevent corrosion, improve heat resistance, and reduce overall weight. Reinforced carbon steel caliper brackets ensure these larger-than-OEM calipers bolt directly onto existing mounting points. The 2-piece, 356mm (14-inch) vented rotors feature an aluminum center to lower rotational mass, improve braking response, and shorten stopping distances. This two-piece design also reduces rotor warpage by allowing for less restricted expansion and contraction. Heavy-duty caliper seals are incorporated for sustained high-temperature use, and stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure for faster pedal response. This Big Brake Kit is designed for the 2008-2014 Subaru Impreza STI. It requires a minimum wheel diameter of 18 inches (457mm) to ensure proper clearance.
