The KSport DualComp Big Brake Kit offers a significant upgrade for the braking system of your 2015-2018 Ford Mustang EcoBoost. Designed with drifting and rally racing in mind, this kit features a novel DualComp system. This innovative design utilizes a single 4-piston caliper, but cleverly splits the functionality: two pistons are dedicated to the primary foot brake, while the other two independently operate the handbrake, each on its own hydraulic system. This complete bolt-on package requires no modifications and comes with everything needed for installation, including calipers, floating brake discs, brake pads, and all hardware. The calipers are constructed with reinforced carbon steel brackets, allowing for larger-than-OEM size calipers to mount directly. Inside, aluminum caliper pistons offer superior corrosion resistance, enhanced heat management, and reduced weight. The system utilizes 356mm (14-inch) diameter vented and slotted rotors with a 2-piece design. The two-piece construction, featuring an aluminum center, reduces rotational mass for quicker response and shorter stopping distances, while also minimizing the chance of rotor warpage by allowing for more unrestricted expansion and contraction. For sustained high-temperature use, all caliper seals are heavy-duty, and the kit includes stainless steel brake lines that resist expansion under pressure, ensuring a faster and more consistent pedal feel.
