The Ksport Dualcomp Big Brake Kit is engineered as an ultimate all-in-one solution, particularly for drifting and rally racing applications. This rear brake system utilizes a unique DualComp setup, featuring a single 4-piston caliper where two pistons operate the foot brake and two operate the handbrake, each on its independent system. This design allows for precise control and enhanced performance. The kit is a complete bolt-on package, ensuring ease of installation with everything needed included. For the handbrake mechanism, a polished titanium cylinder and lever are incorporated, adding both aesthetic appeal and functional control. The kit comes standard with SC5 street performance brake pads, optimized for street and occasional track use, offering reduced dust and noise compared to race pads, with an optimal operating temperature range of 194°F - 1022°F. Additionally, D.O.T. compliant stainless steel braided brake lines are included to eliminate line expansion under pressure, resulting in a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel. Customers can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily driven vehicles as they run cooler, while slotted rotors are recommended for track use. The kit is built to order, with an estimated production and delivery time of 4-6 weeks. Ksport offers custom caliper color options, including standard finishes like Orange, Red, Black, and Yellow, with upgrades to premium high-polish finishes such as Silver, Gold, and Titanium, as well as various anodized colors, making customization nearly limitless.
