This kit features an innovative dual caliper solution utilizing a single 4-pot caliper. Within this caliper, two pistons are dedicated to the primary foot brake, while the other two are independently operated for the handbrake system, providing distinct control for each function. Constructed with CNC machined carbon steel caliper brackets, this kit ensures a direct fit to your OEM caliper bracket locations. For the handbrake, a polished titanium cylinder and lever are incorporated, adding to both the aesthetic appeal and tactile control. The kit comes standard with Ksport's SC5 Street Pads, engineered for optimal braking performance in street and occasional track conditions, operating effectively between 194°F and 1022°F, while also reducing dust and noise. To further enhance braking dynamics, the kit incorporates D.O.T. compliant stainless steel braided brake lines. These lines resist expansion under pressure, leading to a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel compared to stock rubber lines. The Dualcomp kit allows for the choice between slotted or cross-drilled rotors; slotted rotors are recommended for track use, while cross-drilled rotors are suggested for daily driven vehicles due to better cooling.
