The Ksport Dualcomp Big Brake Kit is an ultimate all-in-one dual caliper solution for the rear of your Volkswagen Golf MK4. Designed with drifting and rally racing in mind, this kit features a unique system where a single 4-pot caliper utilizes two pistons for the primary foot brake and the other two pistons for the handbrake, each running on its own independent system. Constructed with lightweight forged one-piece calipers from aerospace-quality aluminum, this kit is built for durability and consistent performance. The opposed-piston design guarantees even brake pad grip and wear. Included are SC5 Street Pads, which offer optimal braking performance for street and occasional track use, reducing dust and noise. An option to upgrade to RCI Race Pads for extreme track conditions is also available. The rotors have lightweight center sections crafted from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, reducing rotational mass for improved brake response. The two-piece design allows the outer rotor section to expand and contract independently, minimizing warping, while the aluminum center sections act as heat sinks. Standard on all kits are DOT compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which prevent expansion under pressure for a quicker pedal response and firmer pedal feel. This Big Brake Kit is Formula Drift legal and is made to order. It comes with everything needed for installation, including calipers, floating brake discs, brake pads, and all required hardware. Customers can also customize caliper colors and center bell upgrades.
