The Ksport Dualcomp Rear Big Brake Kit is an advanced braking solution designed for the BMW E36 318Ti, specifically engineered for the demands of drifting and rally racing. This kit features a unique Dual Caliper system, utilizing a single 4-pot caliper where two pots operate the primary foot brake and the other two pots function as an independent handbrake system. Constructed for performance and durability, the calipers are forged from a one-piece billet of aerospace-quality aluminum, ensuring even thickness and eliminating weak spots. They feature aluminum pistons with heavy-duty seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel wear plates. The two-piece rotors are designed for light weight and fade-free performance, with a 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum center section that reduces rotational mass and improves heat dissipation. Standard kits include SC5 Street Pads, with an option to upgrade to RCI Race Pads for extreme track conditions. The kit includes all necessary components: calipers, floating brake discs, street brake pads, handbrake, and all required hardware, along with CNC machined carbon steel caliper brackets to ensure proper fitment to OEM locations. DOT compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are also standard, providing a firmer pedal response and stopping expansion under pressure. Customization options are available for caliper color, including standard finishes like Orange, Red, Black, and Yellow, as well as premium high-polish and anodized options.
