The Ksport Dualcomp Rear Big Brake Kit is an advanced braking solution specifically engineered for the BMW 3 Series E46 330i and 330Ci models from 1999-2005. This kit is designed with performance in mind, particularly for drifting and rally racing, offering an integrated dual-caliper system. Each caliper incorporates four pistons: two for the primary foot brake and two for the handbrake, operating on independent circuits for enhanced control and safety. The system utilizes 356mm x 32mm two-piece, drilled rotors constructed from aerospace-grade aluminum for lightweight performance and reduced rotational mass. The calipers themselves are forged from a single piece of aerospace-quality aluminum, ensuring exceptional strength and durability to prevent warpage and failure under extreme conditions. They feature aluminum pistons, heavy-duty seals capable of handling high temperatures, and opposed-piston design for consistent pad wear. The kit comes standard with SC5 Street Pads, but offers an upgrade to RCI Race Pads for more intense track use. The kit includes everything needed for installation, such as calipers, floating brake discs, brake pads, a handbrake assembly, and all necessary hardware. Caliper color options are extensive, ranging from standard painted colors to premium high-polish finishes and custom anodized options. Center bell customization is also available, including upgrades to Titanium or twin-color anodized bells. This Big Brake Kit is Formula Drift legal and offers significant advantages over stock braking systems, including improved heat dissipation, reduced weight, and enhanced stopping power. The two-piece rotor design also contributes to a longer service life compared to traditional one-piece rotors by reducing warping potential due to heat expansion. Stainless steel braided brake lines are included to eliminate line expansion under pressure, resulting in a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel.
