The Ksport Dualcomp Rear Big Brake Kit is an advanced braking solution tailored for the BMW E36 Z3 M, offering a unique dual-caliper system. This kit is meticulously designed with drifting and rally racing in mind, featuring a single 4-piston caliper where two pistons manage the foot brake and the other two operate the handbrake, each with its own independent system. The kit ensures easy installation with minimal tools required, providing everything needed for a complete upgrade, including calipers, floating brake discs, brake pads, and all necessary hardware. Constructed with a lightweight forged one-piece caliper from aerospace-quality aluminum, this system eliminates weak spots for enhanced strength and longevity. The aluminum pistons are equipped with heavy-duty seals for high-temperature performance, ensuring smooth operation and consistent pad wear. The two-piece rotor design contributes to reduced weight and exceptional fade-free performance, featuring a lightweight two-piece rotor with a 6061-T6 aluminum center section for lower rotational mass and improved heat dissipation. Cross-drilled rotors are included, recommended for daily driven vehicles due to their cooler operating temperatures. For enhanced performance, an upgrade to slotted rotors for track use is also available. This Big Brake Kit is Formula Drift legal and includes SC5 Street Pads, which offer optimal braking performance for street and occasional track use with reduced dust and noise. An upgrade to RCI Race Pads is available for extreme track conditions. The calipers come in various standard and premium color options, and customization is also available for the center bells, including titanium options. Stainless-steel braided brake lines are also standard, providing a firmer pedal feel and quicker response compared to rubber lines.
